Introduction

The Logic Directory is the module dedicated to creating and maintaining clients and suppliers. This module comprises four main sections:

  1. Filter and results grid
  2. Entity name and industry
  3. Country-specific Tax Information
  4. Address

When you create a new entity in the Directory, Logic automatically treats it as a client and supplier. It creates all the necessary accounts, eliminating the need to manage their status when, like with any agent, inbound and outbound invoicing happen simultaneously:

  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Customer advance payments
  • Supplier advance payments

After creating an entity, it becomes accessible across all Logic modules for use in creating Quotes, Bookings, Invoices, etc. Logic also generates a new administrative task for a KYC procedure. To learn more about administrative tasks, click here.īģŋ

It is highly recommended to assign the entity to an administrative group. To learn more about administrative groups, here.īģŋ

Modify an Entity

īģŋ

Create a new Address on an Existing Entity

It is possible for an entity to exist in the Directory, yet remain untraceable. This indicates that the entity was generated by a different office, and an address has not been assigned to your office.

Deactivate an Entity

At times, it may be necessary to block the usage of a specific entity. In such cases, you can deactivate the entity, thereby canceling business relations with them. Before deactivation, Logic will validate the account payables and receivables to maintain invoices with balances still visible. After deactivation, the entity will no longer appear in any Logic modules but will still be visible in the Directory.
