Credit Proposal and Authorization
The Credit Proposal and Authorization module in Logic TMS is designed to assist users in defining the credit conditions for each client within the Transport Management System. This module ensures efficient management and control of credit limits, commission percentages, and administrative groups, allowing for the proper assignment and authorization of clients and suppliers. By doing so, it minimizes the risk of incomplete or incorrect credit information. A key feature of the Credit Proposal module is its integration with Directory and Credit Authorizations modules, which enable a smooth transition from the creation of a new entity in the directory to the proposal of credit limits and finally its authorization. This integration allows administrative employees to propose and authorize credit conditions efficiently.
- The maximum amount of credit extended to a client must be defined.
- The percentage of commission to be calculated for sales and branches in countries where commission calculations are implemented should be set.
- Clients and suppliers must be assigned to specific administrative groups for streamlined management and control.
- The necessary codes for identifying airlines (e.g., prefix, CAAT) and shipping lines (e.g., SCAC, DAKOSY for Germany) should be defined.
This integration enhances efficiency for administrative roles in proposing and authorizing credit conditions.
After a client's credit terms are approved, they will be removed from the Credit Proposals module.
