Consolidated Cargo

4min

Introduction

A consolidated cargo combines multiple individual shipments into a single shipment. It's important to note that this shipment type can be categorized as either Intra-house or non-Intra-house. If it's an Intra-house shipment, the corresponding office will have access to the Consol Booking module.

Conditions

  • The "Own Consol" field in the booking must be marked as YES.
  • The "Consol Booking Module" within the consolidator booking must have been filled in by the responsible agent when initiating the booking.
  • If the shipment is an Intra-house booking, the "Intra-house" check box must be marked.

What I learned

1

If the Consolidated Cargo is an Intra-house, the corresponding office will have access to the Consol Booking module.

2

Bookings are added individually to the Consol booking by right-clicking on the route and accessing the "Consol Booking" module.

3

The correspondent country will have viewing and document exporting access to the "Consol Booking," but they cannot make any changes to the bookings.
