Create New Booking

5min

Introduction

Creating a new booking facilitates the generation of a unique reference to initiate the shipment process while also serving as a starting point for organizing and tracking the goods.

The more preliminary data you input during the booking creation stage significantly reduces the workflow in the subsequent steps.

Types of Bookings:

There are four types:

  1. Normal: is a booking that was not specifically created as a consolidated one, regardless of whether it is FCL or LCL.
  2. Consol: as the name suggests, is a booking used to manage consolidations, and when created in the Own Consol option, it is confirmed as YES.
  3. Documental: is used to group several existing Normal bookings within a Consol Booking that have the same consignee, to consolidate all the cargo from that consignee.
  4. Transitory: is a booking that was previously Normal but has been grouped into a Documental booking, and as the name implies, it transitions from normal to documental.

Conditions

2

Ensure you select the client's correct address since they might have several locations.

3

The TAX ID field is mandatory only for the client.

4

Once the booking is created, it is not possible to modify the operation type of the shipment.
