Link a Booking to a Quotation
In some cases, bookings may be created before quotations. However, Logic can easily link Bookings to Quotations to inherit data from existing related quotations. This reduces the need for manual data entry from scratch.
While a quotation can be linked to one or more bookings, a booking can only be linked to one quotation.
In this guide, we will learn how to link Bookings to Quotations in the Operations dashboard while inheriting data from the Sales modules.
- The quotation must have at least one existing Quotation version.
- The quotation must have "Sent" status.
- You must click "update" after linking the booking to update the new data in the database.
You can use more than one filter to locate the quotation you need to link the booking to.
The quotation must have at least one existing quotation version.
Selecting the Quotation costs simplifies the latter steps in the process.
You must click "Update" in the dashboard after receiving the system linkage confirmation message so that the selected information can be updated in the database.
The Post-It section has notes related to the booking, including the confirmation statement of the linkage of the booking to a quotation.
