Understanding Administrative Groups

6min

Introduction

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create and modify Administrative groups. To learn how to use them, click here.

Administrative groups serve the purpose of categorizing and organizing Directory entities. Several predefined categories exist to automatically fill options in dropdown menus across various sections of the system. These categories are used to filter or group Directory entities in the following modules:

  1. Routes
  2. FAK rates
  3. Pricing templates with or without values
  4. Supplier evaluation
  5. SOA

For example, we use the Administrative Groups "SHIPPPINGLINES" and "NVOCC" to populate the Shipping Line field in the Seafreight Route

Conditions

  • You can only modify the Administrative Groups you have created.
