Create a Provisional Booking
A provisional booking is initiated when there's a need to start booking-related tasks without immediately assigning a reference number. It's a practical solution for the import department, facilitating document and workflow management.
Note that provisional bookings have temporary creation dates, which update to the conversion date when they become real bookings. When the provisional booking needs to be turned into a real booking, the user must deselect the provisional booking checkbox.
- You must select the "provisional booking" checkbox to initiate it.
- You must enter the details of the client for whom the booking is intended.
- You must deselect the "provisional booking" checkbox to turn it into a real booking.
