Save the addresses of parties involved
The "Save Address" feature lets users add new shipper and consignee addresses to the directory. This functionality streamlines the booking creation and modification process by allowing the storage of company addresses not yet in the database. These new directory entries are solely for operational purposes, such as internal documents and notifications. Due to this, you cannot create invoices and receipts for these companies. When users input a company name, the system automatically searches for any matches or similar names. Before a new address is accepted, the system ensures the Tax ID hasn't been registered already.
- The company shouldn't exist in the database.
- You must check the "Save Address" checkbox.
- You must click the Save button in the general booking window.
- You cannot save clients and agents using this function.
Failure to check the Save Address checkbox and click the Save button means changes won't be saved
Clients and agents are not eligible to use this function, as their registration process is different.
Invoice creation and reception are not supported for these companies.
