An efficient way of transferring newly assigned shipments to the operations team is converting quotations into bookings directly from the Sales Dashboard.
The new booking inherits various crucial data points from the sales process including essential shipment definitions and the conversion of buying rates into provisioned costs.
This process also applies to in-house shipments. By converting quotations into bookings, the system ensures that everyone involved is promptly notified about the initiation of a new operation.
- The existence of at least one saved version of a quotation is required.
- This process can only work on an existing client.
Converting a quotation into a booking is the most efficient method for swiftly transferring an approved quotation to the operations team. This process cannot be performed if the quotation recipient is a Lead.
If the shipment is being transported between offices within the same group, you can open the Booking as an in-house shipment.
