Operative Documents
The Operative Documents consist of forms utilized at different stages in the shipping process, usually to confirm certain aspects of the shipping or provide instructions to the parties involved (such as shippers, consignees, agents, truckers, warehouses, etc.).
These forms are obtained from the routes and may vary depending on the route type, for a better understanding of this, the information on each form is given below:

Pre-Shipping Advice | Sea Freight | It displays the shipment information the Customer gives at the time of requesting the order. It may include the Booking information from the Shipping Line/NVOCC, along with pickup and delivery addresses. Export Certificate | Sea Freight | As the name suggests, it is a certificate confirming that the shipment has been exported and contains the cargo details and the Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking information. It is sent to the Shipper after the shipment has sailed on the planned Vessel. | • The final data of the Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking must be included in the route. • The final cargo details must be included in the route. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
Dangerous Goods | Sea Freight | This only applies when the shipment contains dangerous goods. It has a brief summary of the DGD declaration only for Schryver's internal control purposes. | • A route must exist. • At least one Bill of Lading must have been created and it should include details of the Dangerous Goods. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
Short Message | Sea Freight | This is a form containing a brief message to the recipient. It is usually sent with other documents as a cover for the envelope to be mailed. | • A route must exist. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
Shipping Advice | Sea Freight | It displays the final Booking information from the Shipping Line/NVOCC and the final details of the goods. It is sent to the parties involved after the shipment departed on the planned Vessel. | • The final data of the Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking must be included in the route. • The final cargo details must be included in the route. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
Marine/Air Insurance Policy | Sea Freight | This form shows the information for the insurance policy for sea and air freight that will later be printed with an official letterhead to become the original insurance policy. | • The final data of the Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking must be included in the route. • The final cargo details must be included in the route. • The Pickup details must be included in the route. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in. |
Packing Order | Sea Freight | This document contains the instructions for the warehouse and how they should handle goods to be delivered to their facilities. It also has the Booking details of the Shipping Line/NVOCC and the cargo details. | • The final data of the Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking must be included in the route. • The final cargo details must be included in the route. • The Pickup details must be included in the route. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
A08, A09, A15, A18 | Sea Freight | Quay Delivery Request (A08), Quay Extradition Request (A09), Application for Quay Services (A15), and Commitment Form (A18) are forms sent to the warehouse containing shipment information and specific handling instructions. | • The name of the Shipping Line, the Vessel, the Booking Number, the Port of Loading, and the Destination must be included in the route. • The cargo details must be included in the route. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
G08, G09, G15 | Sea Freight | Quay Delivery Request for Dangerous Goods (G08), Quay Extradition Request for Dangerous Goods (G09), and Application for Quay Services for Dangerous Goods (G15) are forms sent to the warehouse containing shipment information and specific handling instructions for shipments that include Dangerous Goods. | • The name of the Shipping Line, the Vessel, the Booking Number, the Port of Loading, and the Destination must be included in the route. • The cargo details must be included in the route. • At least one of the Bill of Ladings must have been created and including the Dangerous Goods details. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
Transport Order FCL/LCL | Truck Freight | This is the transport order sent to a trucker company, it contains the Shipping Line/NVOCC booking data, the pick-up and delivery addresses, and the details of the goods. It functions as a letter of instruction for the truck. | • The sea freight route must include the final data of the Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking. • The sea freight route must include the cargo details. • All fields in the truck freight route must be filled in, only the „BOL” field is optional. • All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional. |
- There must be an existing route and in most cases, it should already be filled in with the final Shipping Line/NVOCC Booking and cargo details.
- All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in.
- If the cargo has Dangerous Goods it must have at least one Bill of Lading.
All fields in the Operative Documents module must be filled in except the Additional Information field, which is optional.
Different documents are needed for different shipments.
A password is needed when accessing documents in the Logic TMS.
